I actually regrew some of my hair, but have some questions!

I tried some herbal remedies that I made using recipes from http://www.herbalmedicinerecipes.com and it really helped me to regrow some of my hair. But I was wondering if there are any sides effects from herbs? I went to FDA site and they don't have much info on it, since herb are not controlled substance. Please let me know if anyone of you used herbs to regrow hair and if you had any problems?
