Hmm interesting usually people complain about the liquid making their hair feel that way. Foam you can use as a styling product pretty much, try combing it out a bit once it's dried that should help. I just found it gives you a bit of volume to your hair, but you do need to comb it out of mess your hair up with your fingers first
