Got bumped off my parent's insurance plan since I am 26.
Did you guys see family medicine or derm?
What test did you have run?
How much will it cost me?
Is there anything I should do/say to the Doctor (like a check list)?
Even though male pattern baldness is what most hair loss is with, I don't have any family history of such.
Funny thing is for past 2-3 years I was noticing a lot of hair in the shower and on me after i towel dry (bit aggressively), didn't notice anything different to my hair (same full head of hair), than suddenly saw a receding hair line about 6 months ago...so I stopped using the chemical shampoos/conditions and pat dry now...saw a lot less hair in the shower/comb. Than all of a sudden recently saw hair loss on sides (hair line hasn't receded on the side, just hair loss)...not sure where the hair is lost to since i haven't really noticed much hair in the shower or any where in months.
