Was gonna advise nizoral shampoo each morning...nizoral should not be causing the itch its usualy from the minoxidil treatments.

I suffer from the itchy scalp as well since I changed to kirkland liquid, but I find using nizoral and even johnsons baby shampoo soothing. I also wash my hair each morning with luke warm water and run my head under the tap seems to calm it alot down.

I alternate with minoxidil foam in morning and liquid in evenings...

Many others have suggested if nizoral shampoo aint helping with the itch u gotta try a different minoxidil treatment like foam or other brands.

There are some branded minoxidil products that are more itchy free, im sure someone on here can mention them.

You need to change brands. That PPG is shredding your scalp. Consider rogain foam or Minoxidil Max fast dry.

ease up on the nizoral for a bit. Its is real bad about drying up the scalp.

Look into some tea tree oil shampoo. Very cheap!

You might also try a shampoo with selenium sulfide in it... always helped me.

I was actually thinking about trying the Kirkland liquid again to reduce cost but it did itch the hell outta my scalp. Is there any sure fire way to relieve the itch? Currently using Revivogen shampoo but would try anything.

the itchiness is slightly under control but the dandruff doesnt go away even though most of the shampoos i use are for dandruff treatment:

T Gel , Selsun, nizoral, Body Shop Anti Dandruff shampoo ...etc

does the dandruff go away ?
