How To Recognize Miniaturizing Hair?

I have a lot of hair on the top of my head that is growing, but appears like each individual strand is thinner, it's very wispy and blows around easier. It does not pull out easily. I can do the "pull test" and grab dozens and tug but usually none come out. It stays in better than donor zone on the back of my head?

What's the deal with this hair?
Is this hair in the process of miniaturization?

You can see and feel miniaturization just by pulling some of the hair and comparing thickness, when its not suffering from dht its pretty much all equal

So the fact that it's growing and does not shed doesn't matter, it's just the thinness/thickness of each strand?

Can miniaturized hairs near the hairline and temples be natural sometimes? Because i remember having them before I even hit puberty. Yet people say it all needs to be equal thickness everywhere.

When areas show low density when your hair is wet and you never had that problem before is mostly likely miniaturized hairs.

Should smaller hairs be thinner than long hairs? Or do all hairs have the same thickness?

I thought miniaturized hair had shorter growing phases thus didn't grow as long. I don't know. I've got a bunch of long blond hair on my crown.

Some of my "Miniaturized" hairs grow faster than my thick hairs. It might just be naturally thin.

The hair on the sides of my face is a lot shorter but doesn’t fall out easily it also looks thinner than hair from the back of my head.

But you're not losing it.

I'm trying to figure out if this long blond wispy hair around my crown is on its last leg or not.

From what I've read we have varying thickness of hairs....they do not all have to be the same thickness.

So I'll probably lose them near the end of puberty? Most of the baby hairs are way lower than my actual hairline and I know it hasn't receeded because I have a scar that touches my hairline and it's in the exact same position as before (I've had the scar since I was 8 years old).
