Unit: French Lace
Hey Guys, am on my second unit and found I can maintain all parts pretty well 4 months in, but the front seems to recede. I use as little glue as possible as majority of the front is just tape and the last 1cm or so is glue. Touch-up every 4 days ish and re-do the front weekly.
I've found that when wiping the glue off the lace, some of the hairs pull through which is a pain. Also when hairs get into the hairline, I need to be more careful when releasing as have lost a few like that.
Overall I'm wondering what else I can do to maintain the front better?
I was thinking of using C-22 or Action to get the glue off instead of cotton wool and rubbing it but other than that - not sure what else I can do.
I know all units shed but the problem for me is just in the front as it looks pretty good everywhere else.
Also this time have gone for 4 weeks hold with signature tape (usually do 3 weeks). It's still holding well & will do a re-groom next weekend and will be interesting to see the state of it. It's summer here in the UK as well so it's a great test!
