how to know if i have male pattern baldness?

If the distance from the tip of your nose to the your eye brows is much smaller than the distance from your eye brows to your hair line, or your forehead is more than 2.5 inches, you may have male pattern baldness.
If you notice thinning anywhere from your vertex to your hair lines in the male pattern baldness pattern, as compared to your sides, you may have male pattern baldness.
If your father or brother is obviously thinning or has a high hair line, you may have male pattern baldness.
Propecia is very strong when used for prevention, but not too good at regrowth. If you don't get side effects from it, and don't mind speding $24 per month on Proscar 1/4, and you are in any of the 3 categories, why not get on it? And use Nizoral 1% 1-2x per week. Very easy to do. You could even take the pill every other day and not worry about missing a dose. Prevention is so much easier than regrowth.
Don't go all wild with topicals, though. They are messy and only for people with bad male pattern baldness, or people under 18 who can't use propecia.
