how to fix water retention?

ive just started using rogaine about a week ago , i use it once daily and have gotten some water retention in my face.Its nothing major but its very annoying.I watch my salt intake and follow a very healthy diet.Is this water retention just at the beggining or do i need to get a water pill?i cannot stop rogaine i want my hair but i need to control water retention.

man thanks for the reply.Ive done it all though.I drink heaps of water.I have slight facial puffing its nothing major but it looks ugly.Does this go away once my body gets used to minoxidil?

toyboy, im taking dandelion root, started it about a week ago. I think the mild diuretic effect helps, its cheap too so give it a shot.
