how to cut pill

i want to cut propecia 1mg to 2x 0.5mg... i got a pill cutter from ebay but seems like everytime i cut it, the two pill looks different in size. Does it affect the treatment? how can i cut it more accurately (e.g. tips on using a pill cutter). Thanks.

So what if one is 0.6 and the other 0.4 - that wont do much of anything to the effectiveness of the treatment.

When I switched to 0.5 I started losing my hair again so I went back to 1.0mg. Its definately gotten better since going back to the 1.0. I didnt notice any libido chage switching back and forth. Stuff seems to be working fine
