You need to choose the right CMS, get web hosting and your domain name, install all needed plagins, etc. Are you in theme? Or better comsult a specialist, maybe.

Agree. If you want to try to do website just for fun - find some youtube videos (there are tons of them) and follow them. If you need it for business or something similar - find a professional and do it the right way. Forbytes for example. Those services are not too expensive these days

I'd don't think I'm a geek ... but I am a Software Engineer and this is what I do for a living. ;)

You can build your own simple website quite easily using something like WordPress. But if you want a complicated website (that is, one that actually does things instead of just showing pictures and text or the kind of pre-defined features that WordPress or similar allows), then you'll need to learn how to program in a number of different languages (not impossible, but not as easy as many seem to believe), or hire someone to do it for you.

I watched this movie not long ago, but I immediately fell in love with the main character and his methods of making money. It immediately seemed to me that his strategy always leads to success and so I started looking for the same options that will help me to become a good and experienced financier. I had already found several options among which llc in maryland. This became the main reference point for me and I continue my way in this field.
Do you think becoming trans is a viable career path?

Fortunately, there are plenty of website constructors, it's easy to create a website nowadays. In my view, WordPress is a good option. Also, don't forget about search engine optimization - on-page and off-page SEO. In order to build a quality backlink profile, use this free backlink checker to analyze competitors.

Here the question is, for your purposes, if it’s just a site like a blog or a corny small portfolio, then any CMS like WordPress or Wix will suffice. For a larger resource, it is easier to hire a team (designer, developer, content and tester), and this can cost quite a lot.

Thanks for all the answers. I think I found my perfect solution.
Tried couple of different website builders from this source https://www.webbuildersguide.cоm/best-website-builder/ and at the end created a website using Shopify. Can't say it was completely easy but also not difficult . The final result still needs a little polishing but already looks pretty good.
