How thick must Bio Hair be on back of head?

I'm about 3 months away from my appointment to do first install of hair system.

Starting to notice on back of my head- the top half on back- is pretty thin. The sides are not bad, and thicker than that top half on back.

I buzzed it all today with #3 guard (3/8"length), and it looks still pretty thin on top half of back of my head.

I had asked my stylist, I'll be using, at consultation about this...she measured and said ill be fine. She also said some of the system hair "hangs" a bit and will provide covering.

Should this be a concern going in to the process?

I'm just wondering if itll be thick enough to blend correctly.

About how far down on back of the head do hair systems go to be attached?

I personally take finasteride to avoid this issue getting worse. But that's a personal decision of course

Thanks Nostab, I appreciate the feedback man. I'm gonna try and get it a little longer, just trying to find the right length for blending in a unit...too short is bad and too long is bad lol

Yea for sure man, totally agree! I've been on finasteride for years and it's a must for me to keep what I have. About to add rogain and pur'dor shampoo maybe with nioxin or a 1% keto also

finasteride has really thickened what I have. I'm almost tempted to start minoxidil and dernarolling to see how my hair would respond in general.

It's a shame I never took it years ago

Depends on how it was.

Mine was thick as f uck and now it's thinning out badly. Clearly DUPA or retrograde

Ran across this video on YouTube, not sure if this is the "norm" or rare case, but really shows the possibilities of systems with very thin sparse bio hair...I suppose only downside would be having to blend more often

Yes definitely man! Love the possibility of going zero on back and sides, less maintenance as well. And great to know if( or when) I lose it all I can still do hair system.

How much do you have to worry about the whole 360 degree hairline lifting? Is it possible to have it all covered?

Hey, why don't you just trust your specialist? She said everything was going to be fine, so I don't think you should worry. You will succeed, good luck! I really understand you, because this is a very exciting process, but I hope that in the end you will calm down and not worry about it. To be honest, when I had a similar procedure, I was also very worried, but I did not show it to other people (perhaps this is due to the fact that everyone considers me a psychologically strong person). I had a dream all my life and it was after a hair transplant that I was finally able to realize it. I think you've already guessed that this is hair coloring I had to spend a huge amount of time searching for really high-quality paint, but if you want to find more, then you can go to this link. Oh, I used to have a similar problem. I had to see a psychologist for almost 3 months in order to get rid of this (I thought too much about unnecessary things)
