How Propecia/Finasteride Works

I found this the other day, and thought it may shed some light as to what to expect from Propecia for guys who are thinking about trying it, or even those who are already on it.

Okay but who is this guy and why are listening to some random guy tell us basic facts about propecia? So he says propecia does not stop male pattern baldness so what is the point in even using it then if your eventually just going bald anyways except your paying a lot of money for it?

He's saying it just slows down the balding process in the long term. Sounds about right to me.

What part you didnt understand? Offcourse that propecia DOES NOT stop male pattern baldness. If propecia could stop it, then it could be a CURE, and therefor no man will be bald.

Wouldnt a cure be regrowing all the hair to turn a Norwood 7 into a Norwood 0? Feel free to correct me but stopping male pattern baldness from progressing sounds a lot more like preventing male pattern baldness to me then a cure for male pattern baldness depending on how you define the word "cure"
Not to mention I would be curious to know how this guy knows propecia has never stopped male pattern baldness from progressing in anyone when in certain men male pattern baldness stops progressing on its own supposedly but I guess that is a whole different topic. I also thought a study said most men on propecia were still above above baseline after like 10 years which means it did then stop male pattern baldness in those cases it seems but again how does he define stopping not another hair ever lost?
