How Much Would You Pay???

Ok, I'm just posting this because a friend and I were debating this. He isn't losing his hair, and I am.... we were arguing what you would pay, realistically, for a FULL HEAD OF HAIR.

You would keep that, and never go bald until death.

He said like $2000 bucks...

I said $100,000.

Make your decision realisitc. $100,000 would be like $500 a month for a 30 year mortgage.

What's your price?

Same cost as hair transplant

yeah but a hair transplant wont restore you to a full head of hair, i'm talking about the hair density you had at 10 years old.

That would depend on how much money I had- probably 20% of my net worth which is two bottle caps, a piece of belly button lint, one used laser comb and $10.

I would drop the $10,000 if I new it would be taken care of. Most guys pay this amount for H/T and believe that it is the cure for life, but is it?

it sucks that even if HM or HC becomes a reality, you'll still never see a FULL head of hair again. as far as how much i'd pay, maybe $50,000. i'd just wh*** myself out to earn the money.

AMS, I agree that a hair transplant will never be able to give you a FULL head of hair again, but I can't see why HC wouldn't do the job? It's a question of how much money and time you can spend. With follicular units transplants they can put grafts as close as 1-1.5 mm in between in one session. Obviously you would need several sessions to provide acceptable density (that’s why you need 3 hair transplant's to achieve a really good result.) Some people only have donor hair (density) enough for 1-2 hair transplant's, and that’s when you notice that the hair transplant might not look so good. With HC you could go back until they crowded your skull with as many grafts that there is virtually no more space to fit a single graft. It might not be like the hair of a ten year old, but it would definitely be a full head of hair.

$10k MAX. And I already have a credit card ready if sh*t hits the fan later in life.

$10k would probably be two hair transplant sessions. Would hold me off another 2 years or more I assume. I really dont care. Worst comes to worst I'll shave it. but I'd rather have a choice

I don't give a damn what it cost. I'd sell my soul for a full head of hair. Once HM comes out I will pay as much as they ask me.

$20,000. I feel pretty confident about that number.

Still I hope I end up paying a lot less!

$20,001. I don't plan on touching a hair transplant until we have some form of HM or HC available.

Some guys get really lucky and get good hair transplants. One example is Matt Mchaunhey. Look at his before and after pics. Amazing.

hair

I don't want the head of hair of a ten year old, more like when I was 20.
I'd spend a few thousand for a good head of hair, something like $5000 or so, and thats now.
If I had a million in the bank, I would no longer be fucken bothered with hair, as I'd more than likely be ridding beautiful women every night of the week anyway regardless of hair.

it's my understanding that even if you had an unlimited supply of donor hairs, with the techniques that are available, there's only so much density you can get (which is not to say it's not a lot, but i doubt it'll be the density you had when you were 10)

Everything I have read says if you wanted to you could get any density you wanted, it all comes down to how much time and money you have. Personally I would want the hairline of 2 teenagers and would be willing to sell a kidney, bone marrow, soul, or anything else that could raise money to get me back to my old hairline. I too would never get a hair transplant, especially with the hopes of hair cloning being dangled so close in front of me. The only thing I would be wait for is to let some guinne pigs show us what is possible, then I would wait a little bit more and find one of the best docs possible to do the surgery. Money would be no object, because to me happiness is more important than something that I can replace with getting a job.

All that being said I would pay $250,000 for a full head of hair with the density of my choosing done by a surgeon that makes it look like I never lost any hair at all.
