How much spironolactone do you put on?? How long does it last?

Hiya guys, was just wondering how much spironolactone u shud put on.. i have a few questions please...


1.) Which way is the best to apply it as it goes into the hair whilst trying to rub it into the scalp!

2.) How much should you use? A really small bit or....? Its hard to tell whats enough.

3.) How long should a tb last of the 5% stuff? Im not sure if il be using it once a day or twice.

4.) Does it affect the styling of your hair the next morning, as it does with me.

I get my spironolactone from Dr. Lee at http://www.minoxidil.com and I use the 5% tub which lasts me roughly a month and I use the 2% which also lasts a month. I like the 2% better because the bottle is amazing and is so much easy to apply to all your hair. If you just want to maintain every bit of hair you have I would def recommend adding spironolactone to your regime

1) Just use a small thin film and rub into the scalp. Thats it. I don't know what else to say though if you are applying spironolactone to your entire scalp.

2) See above.

3) My first jar lasted me like almost 5-6 months. But I'm only applying to the hairline/temples.

5) Nope. The only thing I noticed is that as my jar started getting really really low, I saw a bit more white residue after applying it to my scalp.

I didn't like paying the 20$ fee... however the stuff he sends is quite good quality and easy to apply. I personaly thinkt hat it was worth it
