How Much Saw Palmetto Should I Take Daily?

I started to shed more hair than usual from stressful working environment. Bough saw palmetto to see if it will help with the shed. Is 500mg enough per day or should I take the full 1000mg?

It won't. Been taking it in two different forms. One year extra strength 1500 tablets. No difference. One year 750 in capsule powder. No difference. Don't bother.
