How much money do you spend on hair loss treatment a month?

Between Proscar, Tricomin, Revita (when it's released), Nizoral and Revitalize conditioner and follicle spray (old formula), I am spending $48.50 a month on treatments, which isn't bad at all I think. All of this includes shipping.

Proscar at .5mg = $8.30/month
Nizoral 1% = $5/month
Tricomin = $15/month
Revita = $13.50/month
Revitalize Conditioner = $6.70/month

Tricomin is causing me the greatest expense. I am thinking about ditching it and buying another case of 10 bottles of the old formula of American Crew Revitalize spray and just using it. Hell, I kinda think I like the AC version better than Tricomin anyway.

So how bout it?

$400 per year on Avodart
$100 per year on Nano
$50 per year on nizoral

$550 per year

$45.83 per month.

and jedi is wrong. an hair transplant is not cheaper. it costs at least 5k and you'd still have to be on treatments afterward to maintain the hair that wasn't transplanted.

Jayman I have a question.

If i started getting on a plan as of now, I am 18, and use it religously, will it help me prevent hair loss?

Because I still have most of my hair, I am just looking to maintain and thicken, possibly some regrowth. And a hair transplant would not be cheaper, and plus with the current method of hair transplant I do not want a scar on the back of my head. Hell, 10 years of Proscar at .5mg a day doesn't even equal a grand.

hmm... i did some majar change to my treatment by trying to use minimum treatment and now:

Recently dropped:
Retin A
hydrocortisone cream
topical flutamide

Now:
Avodart - 3 X weekly
spironolactone 25-50mg - daily
Nizoral shampoo/cream -3-4times weekly
CP serum - 3-5times weekly
Rogaine foam - 1 X daily
laser brush - soon to be added.

rough estimation should be around $50-60USD. still trying to reduce some more treatment. yet can't think of which to go. my next traget might be CP serum. from what i read it don't do much for most people and mostly is about conditioning scalp. any suggest how to cut further cost or treatment? hairloss treatment is really expensive. but if i know better before, i will have save a couple of thousands dollars.

yes, as long as the plan contains finasteride(propecia/proscar) or dutasteride(avodart).

My regimen is about 60€/month. But I also take some of my vitamins for general health so it is not all spent on my hair.

Just started but so far I spent

3 Bottles of minoxidil foam 60.00
Nizoral 2% 15 dollar co pay 35 dollar dr visit to get Nizoral
Nioxin shampoo/cond 35.00
Omega-3 10.00
MSM 15.00
B-100 5.00
Multi vitamin 10.00
Retin-A co pay 15.00

Spent 200.00 but as per month this stuff is going to last me for at least 3 months.

my Dr won't presribe me finasteride for another two months, im taking meds for aniexity/depression and she wants to wait till im stabilized on the current meds.

so in couple months, not sure how much rx for finasteride will be with insurance hopefully just my co pay price would be great.

I pay for Propecia because I just love the little thing so much. It officially makes me happy every morning when I take it.

I think I have the opposite of brain fog because I can't seem to get out of bed without it.

I took it at night for a long time but I love it much more now.

Want to go buy Tricomin 15$, and do the 2% nizoral Shiz Nix 15$
