How much Minoxidil when applied ONLY to temples?

Howdy,

I feel like the 1mg they suggest is too much for the area (picture here: http://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/download/file.php?id=10017&t=1)

I'm not really worried about using too much so I can have more for later (the stuff is dirt cheap and I have a 6 month supply at least), but I don't want to inhibit any potential growth from the excess.

It's the Kirklands liquid 5%.

Any one have any ideas how much to apply for the area I am talking about?

i use about 2 drops per side, if even.. just enough so that there is a thin layer that covers the area you want treated... one bottle would last me 2-3 months when i was using it just on my temples...

but you want to treat the hairless area and the area that does have hair too, to keep that from receding any further... chances are the bald areas' follicles are alreayd fried... so prevention is key

I think you can just put enough so that there is a thin layer that covers the area you want treated, I always do it this way.

be very careful using minoxidil just to prevent further balding (I would say don't use it at all) I believe it made mine worse.
