How Much Hairloss In The Shower Is Normal?

I don't know what to think anymore guys..ive been to different specialists and other tell me here that I have no problem. I lose anywhere between 20-50 hairs shampooing and rinsing my hair. Thing is the hair on the side of my head is so short they would go right down the drain so they cannot be counted. Today for example I lost about 50 hairs after washing and rinsing. Is this normal, or too much? Hear a lot about the 100 hair a day rule, and then on the other hand hear that 50 hairs is too much to be losing while washing. When the hell else would you loose 50-100 hairs a day besides washing? I can see losing like 5-10 throughout the day if you run your hands through your hair...let me know your thoughts. sh*t is killing me

It's really not a big deal to lose that much hair, and even more

My mother sheds more hair than me and she's not balding

You shouldn't even count your hairs like some sickos here do (no offense), cause that simply doesn't mean anything

You should look for other common balding signs like miniaturization at the hairline, crown thinning, scalp showing etc..

Yeah, nothing worse than seeing lots of hairs fall out when washing your hair, but as Slade said it's not really a good way to know if you are balding or not. Whether they grow back and how your hair actually looks is what's important.

thats bullshit bro, I litteraly lost 35-50 hairs in shower before my treatments and now after treatments im losing 1 hair to 3 in shower.

I don't want to be the devil's advocate here but, is this the amount you lose in the shower or the amount you NOTICE losing? There are some factors that play a role as well, such as the frequency you comb your hair, if you blow dry it, the length of your hair and the list goes on. If I spend two days without washing my hair I lose a decent amount in the shower, probably around 10, but I comb it in the days in between, losing 3 or 4 sometimes.

I shampoo daily and I usually see 5 max hairs. And I have long Bieber ish hair.
