How much does it cost for thyroid test? is $250.00 too high?

I'm looking around to find a doctor who can get my blood test for any thyroid problems. I contacted one dr. today and he told me there is a $75.00 first time visitation fee plus $175.00 testing fee. Thats $250.00. Is this about right?

Around how much should I be looking to pay?
