How many years can minoxidil regrowth be maintained while also on finasteride?

If your hair follicles aren't ultra sensitive to androgens, regrowth with Finasteride and Minoxidil could be maintained for 10+ years, probably even for life.

Well I'm really hoping that stem cell breakthroughs in hair loss are made in the next ten years hahaha...like I hope 5-ard inhibitors will hold us over until much better treatments are out.

That's interesting how you say that, being someone with let's say non-aggresive male pattern baldness. I think you're stretching it a bit though, 10+ years, Life! Pretty insane I don't think I've never heard of anyone using only minoxidil for that long and maintaining their hair.

Maybe I'd be a good responder...
Though the thought of having to put that **** in my hair everyday, sigh.....
I wonder how people do it...

I have aggressive male pattern baldness with thinning in a NW6 pattern. Before I got on any legitimate treatments, I was losing so much hair that it would be all over my bed when I woke up after sleeping. Hair would also keep getting into my nose making me sneeze a lot and would sometimes get into my eyes after opening them because hair would be all over my face when I woke up.

I've been using Minoxidil topically for a while now with good results. I've never suffered any side effects whatsoever from using Minoxidil topically for the past few years and have recently planned to start taking orally. I've been extremely disciplined with twice daily use, though my scalp just doesn't want deal with it anymore, and my hair looks dry because of the alcohol content in the topical Minoxidil solutions. That's why I'm going to start taking Minoxidil orally not only because it's easier, but because it's a lot more effective. My hair and scalp are beat up from using topical treatments and it's time to go towards the oral route.

Maybe you'd be a good responder to treatments? You've never tried Finasteride and/or Minoxidil to treat your Androgenetic Alopecia?
