How many hairs fall out of your head?

If you were to vigoursly rub your hands in your head for about 15-20 seconds over a white surface such as the sink, how many fallen hairs can you count? I get about 25-30 and I'm curious to see how I stack up to everyone else. BTW: I'm a Norwood 2.5 with a slightly visible male pattern baldness pattern of thinness.

I've been on 0.5mg finasteride (1 tab every two days) for about 2 months now and when I comb my hair in the morning I'm getting about 200 hairs on the comb.

Before starting finasteride I was getting about 30 hairs on the comb, so this is quite an alarming development to say the least! However shedding like this seems to be par for the course with finasteride.

yep, starting a treatment like finasteride will almost definitely cause shedding!
i was on sp and bs and i had bad bad shedding, for 3/4 months casuing me to become diffused on the left side of my scalp visible along my parting, i stopped and shedding dramtalically reduced over a 1 month period.
