Its funny how fast you change your opinions.
Can you tell I’m desperateIts funny how fast you change your opinions.
I would assume 3000 Grafts, but I am not sure, not really informed in that topic, sorry.
@nicoandgello might help you here.
I would try with meds first, transplant is surgical and I would go for it as the LAST last resort lol.Can you tell I’m desperate
Im just at a loss at this point. I'm just flabbergasted that my loss still hasn't stopped.I would try with meds first, transplant is surgical and I would go for it as the LAST last resort lol.
My problem with transplants is that I am not a candidate for it tbh. You are as well a NW7 diffuse thinner, so I wonder how your donor looks. Mine is actually roasted as well xD so transplant is not a good option.
Consider talking to a specialist. hair transplant Doctor.
No, finasteride/duta slow only down. To stop/cure male pattern baldness you need to shut down androgen supply to the scalp. There are many ways to do so, but you will have to sacrifice. You choose.Im just at a loss at this point. I'm just flabbergasted that my loss still hasn't stopped.
My dad was full Nw7 at 26. I'm sure id be in the same boat right now if it were not for dutasterideNo, finasteride/duta slow only down. To stop/cure male pattern baldness you need to shut down androgen supply to the scalp. There are many ways to do so, but you will have to sacrifice. You choose.
Yes! It's like a train, someday it will reach its destination, but you are able to slow down the train, maybe even from 90km/hrs to 10km/hrs.My dad was full Nw7 at 26. I'm sure id be in the same boat right now if it were not for dutasteride
I'm hoping if I do transplant-- I can hold a nw1 until at least 35. Currently 26. I'll keep my regimen the whole time as wellYes! It's like a train, someday it will reach its destination, but you are able to slow down the train, maybe even from 90km/hrs to 10km/hrs.
~But you also can just... stop the train totally~
Lol
Seems unlikely without an AA (topical/oral).I'm hoping if I do transplant-- I can hold a nw1 until at least 35. Currently 26. I'll keep my regimen the whole time as well
AA as in RU? Cuz im currently using dutasteride/RU/ for androgen suppression. And bunch of sups like Reishi/Beta Sitosterol/Flax seedSeems unlikely without an AA (topical/oral).
You most likely will loose ground behind the transplant, I would assume.
My conclusion bases on your family history.
Also thank you so much for your speedy responsesSeems unlikely without an AA (topical/oral).

No problem! Maybe consider sooner or later, when the loss doesn't stop ORM as a topical, instead of RU. Its waaaay cheaper than RU as well because you use MUCH less. Also thank you so much for your speedy responses
hmm ok! Ill give this a tryDraw the hairline you want, and then take tape and try to measure it. Whatever you get multiply by amount of grafts you want per sq cm. If you want density higher than 50/60 FUs per sq cm you will need 2 transplants.
I have to disagree with this estimation. I'd say 2000 should suffice unless you want a super straight hairline. Also you hair caliber looks decent (thick and dark). Its funny how fast you change your opinions.

Well that’s my issue lol. Nothing seems to be stopping the loss. I feel like Zarev is my only hopeYou really shouldn't be getting a transplant unless you can 100% stabilize your loss with a father who was NW7 at the same age. You'd only need like 2k graphs right now but then what?
Honestly I'm only a year or two older then you and have slightly the better/worse hair. Just do what you can now to slow it down and find some sense of style. By the time you are old enough to consider a hair transplant anyways there might be better better treatments options on the horizon that don't require you to exhaust your donor hair hopelessly. As good as Zarev seems, you need to remember that those are pictures and cases in ideal conditions, not to mention that you need to already be in the upper bounds of donor hair/density on average.Well that’s my issue lol. ugh thats the thing. I wanna pull the trigger and enjoy my 20's, but also I don't wanna destroy hairs that I can possibly bring back to lifeHonestly I'm only a year or two older then you and have slightly the better/worse hair.
