How long will puffy face last after quitting minoxidil?

So I started minoxidil foam a few months ago as I was not making any progress, and probably losing ground after staying on Propecia for a year. I think I may have had a small shed at the beginning, but now I am starting to get the puffy, bloated face that people talk about. Anyway, I've sort of started to accept my hair loss, and this puffy face isn't worth staying with Rogaine. So I'm quitting, and I want to know how long I should expect the puffiness to stick around? It is reversible, right?

Should clear up by a week max. It took approx 1-2 weeks for my face to go back to normal

thats good to hear, i didnt notice the swelling until i looked at a picture taken of me, and got damit my face looked fat, hopefully it wil go down after a nice breake from minoxidil.
looks a bit strange since im 182 cm long and only 74 kg... :mrgreen:

yea it sucks b/c rogain has given me some nice kicks, in the hair area

Im going ahead with very short skinning, + dropping rogain i think

nah its minoxidil, finasteride dont have these sides with retaining water.
1 guy says u can get a desease that swells youre head from finasteride.. but i checked it and it is a desease for horses and such.. so its bullshit

No it is not bs, facial skin changes from finaasteride is a very real side effect, there are numerous stories at propeciahelp.com and I was also a sufferer, it causes Cushing Syndrome in a very small percentage of males. Those of you who are complaining of this side effect, I am willing to bet that finasteride is causing it in half of you.
