I have been following these boards for a few weeks. I'v just turned 30 and had a great head of hair (if a little grey) until about 2 years ago. Since then I'v been receding a fair amount at the temples. From what I'v read on these boards I understand it is extremely difficult, but not impossble, to regrow temple hair, and hence I'v decided to try Regaine foam and Nizoral, which I'v been on for about 3 weeks.
I'm well aware that the minoxidil could take months and months to show any noticeable results and its not that I'm impatient, I just keep wondering whether I should be adding finasteride to my regime for maximum benefit...and to complete the "big 3".
Would you suggest holding off to see how well the minoxidil works on its own for a few months, or just go for it now? I hate the feeling of not doing everything possible to help my hair, but at the same time it would be nice to know what is working and what isn't it.
