How long on dutasteride?

I have been taking avodart for about 3 months now. I haven't seen much effect at all - I am still losing hair, but possibly at a slightly slower rate. Can anyone comment from experience if this is normal? In how long can I expect to see results? I am wondering if I should continue with the hope of results, or discontinue, because the avodart has given me acne.

Also, has anyone experienced skin side affects?

you have to give it at least 12 months before deciding whether its working or not
