How long in system?

How long does it take for finasteride to come out of your system after stopping use? My wife and I are trying to have a baby, and have been having some difficulty. I honestly have a feeling finasteride may be playing a role. I may be wrong, but it'll just give me peace of mind. Anyway, let's say hypothetically speaking that finasteride affects my fertility. If I stop today, how long until it's out of my system and stops affecting me in any way? Please help if you know any info at all.

it has a half life of approximately 6 hours in the normal male adult body.... (ie if you had 0.5mg in your blood, after 6 hours there will be 0.25mg and so on...) so it will reach totally negligable levels very quickly.

DHT will take in the order of 2+ weeks to return to normal levels

Why don't you ask your Doctor if it's causing a problem?

I am certain he/she will say no but you should ask.
