How long for finasteride to stop the "itch"?

I've been on 1mg finasteride a day for 3 days now, I know this basically no time at all but I thought finasteride lowered your DHT levels almost instantly? I thought this would then lead to the itch stopping basically straight away? Obviously I was wrong in this as it hasn't, it's nothing bad, I don't actually have to scratch it or anything, it's just annoying and almost like a constant "reminder" of what's going on..

give it a couple more days pal, my itch is alot less frequent now a little over a month and ahalf into finasteride, but i still get an occasional itch here and there, although i woudnt even say once a day anymore.

It's ridiculous that whenever I take finasteride, even on 0.1 or 0.2 mg, the itch stops the next day right away, but as soon as I stop it, it goes back within less than two days!

Maybe that also explains why I'm so sensitive to its sides.
