Very worried about this happening.

I've never had an issue with tape breaking down on me but I'd like to stretch a full bond as long as possible w/ 2 coats instead of one.

I do front with glue only. Personally I find I have to redo the front with ghost bond xl weekly.

It's a scale. Going from good, to getting difficult to clean off, to seeping and messy.

If you press on it, or touch it... especially after it starts to break down, and ooze. This can happen to tape, also, There is no built-in time... it's individual.

Probably at around 2,5...3 weeks.

Does anybody know a good method to clean after this has happened?

So then it's too long a period of time between refit. Go two weeks, solve the problem before it happens.

I was never successful with ghost bond. But with all adhesive, be proactive. Once it starts to breakdown, your too late. Proactively, cleanup and prep is a breeze.

Still, once it has happend, you've either ruined your system or you have to just soak it for a very long time? Or use a textile gun?
