How Long Does Going Bald Actually Take?

I've been slowly thinning inwards for the past 8 to 10 years. I'm assuming I have fairly slow hairloss given how long it's taking. Guess I've left it as long as I can, didn't want to take finasteride but seems the only chance.

How well do people my age respond?

I took dutasteride didnt respond to it at all hair got worse, doing better on finasteride. Only Side effect for me atm is insomnia and reduced semen lower ejaculation Force.
