Background: 9 mo on finasteride. Initially, i had a rough shed two weeks in. that shed lasted a few weeks. TONS of hairs covering my pillow.
After 9 mo (1mg/day) i thought it wasnt working so i switched to dutasteride. Imabout to finish mo 2 @ .5 mg/day ... so far, i have had "shed" but it seems that after i had my initial finasteride shed, everything has been a slow, drawn-out medium shed. i constantly lose hairs - small whispy one, but tone of thick, dark short ones ... and recently it seems the shed is getting worse.
Im a diffuse thinner, and it seems i am only losing ground.
When will the tide turn in my favor? i know no one has a magic crystal ball, but whats the avg time for the turn for the better?
