how long do shedded hairs take to grow back?

ive been on the big 3 for 3months now. a few weeks in i started to experience some moderate shedding- which seems to almost completely subsided. my hair still sheds but i dont think its much higher than normal.

so since my shedded follicles have gone into the dormancy phase- how long should they take to start growing again?

update I do seem to be finding shedded thin hairs that are quite short on my laptop (just found another now)- since I use my laptop a lot. can anyone tell me about this? what does this indicate?

im cutting back on the amount of minoxidil im using coz i do have a habit of using too much & I read on here that to much can increase shedding.

Using so much Minoxidil in one application could cause shedding like this member reported?
