How long can you go without minoxidil before shedding?

Long story short, been on minoxidil for a little over 1.5 years. Two weeks developed nasty scalp inflammation overnight that minoxidil was causing. Dropped it and my scalp still doesn't feel better. I am hoping in another two weeks I will be able to use it again as I felt I got good results on it.

Anyway how long did most people last who quit minoxidil before they started shedding again?

last year i was on minoxidil for 2 months got regrowth, quite for 3 and then started to shed like hell, i did recover though


so 3 months


add foam or less minoxidil without ppg is that will help your issue

i have stopped minoxidil 5% from may and have lost a little density, now i'm only with propecia. New hairs have no shedding. Alex
