How long after a hair transplant should you use Tricomin?

Hey guys,

I'm currently using Tricomin therapy spray and shampoo. I'm getting my hair transplant within the next couple weeks and I was wondering how long I should wait after my hair transplant to start using Tricomin again (when for therapy spray and when for shampoo).

I hear the copper peptides in Tricomin will be good for the recovery...

How much research have you done?Generally people that do research don't get transplants. Wanna know why?

The copper-peptide enriched post op product you are thinking of is Graftcyte. It is a topical spray that you will be applying directly to the grafts for roughly three days post-op. The objective is to promote a moist healing environment along with the copper-peptide agents facilitating the healing process. Chances are your surgeon will make this product available to you but you should really ask up front. You can also buy the product online.

Then once the crusts come off, you can resume shampooing with the Tricomin tri-copper enriched complex shampoo. You might want to visit Procyte's website for more information.

I know about graftcyte, but it cost so much money! The tricomin spray costs one-third of what the graftcyte concentration spray costs... And I figured since they both contain copper peptides, I'd look to get the cheaper alternative.. Just a thought I suppose..

omar,

Unless I am completely mistaken, the Tricomin contains a tri-copper complex, not copper peptide which is the active ingredient to advance tissue healing. So the Tricomin was developed more as a hair nutrient whereas Graftcyte is a post-op wound care product.
