I am using 5% liquid Minoxidil for 3 weeks and i am shedding more than usual. I know this is normal but i am wondering how long it usually last? On rogain website they said that if it lasts more than 3 weeks i should talk to the doctor, and everybody are saying that rogain foam sheds more than minoxidil liquid.

The timeframe can vary from weeks to months at both end of the spectrum. You should slowly, over the course of 3-6 months, see a gradual settling down.
Of course this really depends on what a "normal" pattern is based on the individual. 3 weeks is nothing.
