I used to believe that rogaine was all you needed to regrow hair, and when i started losing hair i thought nizoral and rogaine is all you needed, then i kept losing hair so now i do the big 3.

doesnt make sense though because on the rogaine packaging it doesn't say anything about nizoral and finasteride, and tbh i would not have ever found out about finasteride and nizoral if i hadn't stumbled upon a thread in this forum.

so how does rogaine promote itself as "the" hair regrowth treatment? does rogaine alone work for some people?

On short term(1-2 years), and not very agressive balding, it works.
And, really, are you expecting Rogaine makers to promote finasteride and nizoral on their product?? finasteride, nizoral being made by other, concurrent pharmaceutical companies?

I always wonder how it's still on the market too. In all honesty I don't think they are doing too well. It's a hassle to use, it is the best growth stimulant, that's what keeps it going.

Here in Ireland in the pharmacies Regaine (same as rogaine) is €40 for a month supply. I got a years supply of another brand for €80 online.
