Should you use a razorblade or just an electric shaver or both? What do you do?

Thanks!

I use tape and have tried various methods, including taping onto a scalp with about a week's worth of growth. It did not adhere well at all.

The first time I got a piece, I got it from a woman who sells them (expensively, I might add), and she removed the hair with a set of clippers that cut hair shorter than any clipper I've ever seen. It was almost razor-like.

I'd use a razor.

I get the best tape attachment shaved smooth.

Ghosboond is more forgiving, and I can use it on a clipper-shaved head.

Wahl, 1-inch wide cutting blade and the length of a pen. Its easy to pack without the guards. I don't have the numbers here but had it quite a few years.

Beard trimmer for me too. A lot of the salons do a wet shave with a razor blade, but I find that the combination of a wet shave plus the adhesives can cause itchiness or irritation. Buzzing with an electric razor or a beard trimmer works fine.

Actually I've only used an electric beard trimmer as well and noticed nothing bad, but recently I've seen suggestions that you should use a razor.

Dry shave then shower or wash scalp. I haven't noticed any ill effects. I tried a razor and found it too harsh for my scalp.
