How Is Aggressive Balding Identified?

Ok, I see this term thrown around a bit. How would you define aggressive balding? I see being young + balding being insinuated to mean aggressive, but really, I'm 21 and my hairline is receding, but I still have years of hair left. On the other hand, I've seen 18-year-olds on here with half their hair left. Someone just made a comment that minoxidil will probably hold you for a few years on the hairline if you're not aggressive (young/balding), so I'm really wanting to know how you would classify this. I would mainly imagine that it just pertains to the speed in which things develop...or un-develop? Whichever you prefer.

Aggressive balding imo can take place at any age. I identify it by noticing recession and thinning. From what i see around me diffuse thinning is a HUGE indicator of aggressive balding, I have yet to see anyone thin out slowly.
