Hi,

At first there was very mild itching, almost unnoticeable. Then there was more itching, but I dismissed it or pretended it doesn't exist. And then, the itching got so bad that I had to do something about it. I tried lots of different products, here's what worked for me.

1. After shampooing, I use Suave Perfomance Series 2-Minute Recovery Deep Conditioner. Then rinse. Then use Suave Professionals Awapuhi Conditioner, which works as a leave-in treatment.

2. Twice a week, I use Aveda Scalp Remedy, also a leave-in treatment. But don't use it right after Nizoral since together they are too strong.

3. Once a day I massage the scalp with the Tingler.

I am going to try that Aveda Scalp remedy. I almost bought some Saturday when I bought some soap their, but decided to try Dr Lees stuff first.

I hate shopping there.......you get pounced on the second you walk in with offers for "soothing tee" and massages........

My GF was almost doubled over laughing as I carried out that dainty little brown bag on Saturday.....

I think we need to break this habit of counting hairs. All people go through sheds. It is not about how many hairs you shed, it is about the trend of the follicle... follicles successfully responding to treatment tend to shed like a motherfucker, which means you see the hairs in the sink, but are not seeing the potential of the NEW hairshaft being created in its place. And, new hairshafts take several months of initial thin growth before starting to show the thickness that they are capable of producing.

Believe me, I just got past month 7 and I have gone through many sheds... but the general trend continues to be positive. Don't judge anything until at least month 6. If you are religious in your regimen, statistics show that you will be very happy men at month 12.

it's impossible to count hairs. i don't know why people do it. when you take a shower, a lot of hairs fall out that you might miss counting anyways. if you count your hairs you seriously have a problem
