How does Retin-A help?

Is Retin-A a proven treatment? I still have a bunch of Retin-A "Tazorac" left from when I used to use it as an acne treatment on my forehead. Would this help? Right now my hair loss isn't noticeable but I am losing a few hair here and there on my hairline.

Could I have more info on Retin-A as a hairloss treatment?

Tazorac is a different retinoid than Retin A. It is synthetic. It acts on different receptors than Retin A. While Retin A has been proven to help in hair loss, no such study has been done concerning Tazorac.

Retin A helps the scalp absorb more minoxidil, making it more effective, from what i've read...
