If you are having success with minoxidil(which I am) can you expect it to continue to get better for longer than 4 months? I have been reading and reading and I simply can't draw a conclusion from any of the(many) clinical trials about minoxidil.
I think there might be a plateau around the 4th month, or 16th week or so. Perhaps sooner if you use a stronger version than whatever they used.
I am into my second month. My hair is really starting to look better and I regret not doing something sooner! Especially finasteride.
It is definitely too soon to be the finasteride causing my regrowth or anything else.
I would really appreciate it if a more experienced and knowledgeable person would further educate me as to what will happen throughout this year for me. I had a shed in my first few weeks of minoxidil usuage, it built up gradually till I was shedding about 300 a day then it completely stopped.
Will I continue to see growth and better hair for the whole year? When someone uses minoxidil does finasteride still take a few months to show IT'S results? Or is the results I am having credited to both? I know a ketoconazole shampoo when used alone has very "long term" positive effects on the hair. But I don't know if they are long term if you use it with finasteride and minoxidil etc.
BASICALLY, will my hair get even better than it is now?
I basically have regrowth everywhere on top...mostly the front. It's getting really thick in the front. Though...the temples aren't doing squat. They started the earliest, so go figure.
