How Does Hair Length Affect The Appearance Of Your Hairline?

When someone's hair is long, does the appearance of the hairline begin to change? Since high school started I've always had a typical short haircut with my hair styled up, short/medium length. Since last year, however I started to grow my hair longer it doesn't appear receeded, but it looks different. When it's wet it looks like normal but after it dries it seems to me as if the length changes how it looks

It doesn’t affect your hair line at all. The longer the hair the thinner it looks. The extra weight pulls it down and reduces volume. Usually, this is most noticeable when wet. Bear in mind I’m referring to truly long hair (chin length), not subjectively long hair.

Everyone’s hair looks different wet than dry...
