I have just re-started using this, and I have always "smeared" it on, as opposed to rubbing it in.

What do you guys who use it do?

a. Smear it on
b. Rub it on

thanks alot

And how long do you wait after applying minoxidil before applying spironolactone cream?

I create a part in the hair with one hand and "smudge" a fingertips worth up along the part. Then create another part about a half inch over and do the same, until I reach the other side.

So to answer your question, I neither smear nor rub, I smudge :)

Admin, I know Lee says to use a thin layer...but I tend to use a thicker layer because sometimes I think not enough of the cream is on my scalp in order for it to work.

How much do u use?

And has thishelped with your hairloss?

Also on this site this is what Lee said concerning application-
All you need to do is to dip your fingers into the lotion and rub a small amount into the scalp.

Is rubbing necessary? Is just smearing it over minoxidil alright?

I just kinda blotch it on. Take a little bit and blotch the area. I really don't think it matters, as long as you get it on the scalp, thats the important thing. I wait till the minoxidil is completely dry........about 30 to 45 minutes. And try to use a thin layer of it, otherwise you might be wasting it. :)

Thin layer is sufficient. Try putting some on your forehead sometime. It will leave a shine. Just a tiny little dot. Come back a few hours later and you'll see that dot has even expanded a bit. The shine will be wider. This should give you a better idea of what happens when you put it into the hairline. Rubbing vs smearing ... not sure there's much of a difference. Ive just smeared it for almost 3 yrs now. Results? My hair was coming out in Gobs at age 25 and now Im bordering on 31 (ugh) and I still seem to have a full head of hair. Both my father and both grandfathers had lost at least an inch or two by age 30 ... so I believe its working. Im also on Revivogen and Nizoral however.

thanks guys.

Interesting you use Revivogen Admin, as not many people still use this. I have thought of trying it a few times, but never did, due to hardly any good feedback.

How long have you been using it for?

And do rate it well?

I am surprised you are not on finasteride.
