Should I pour some C22 into a bowl of water and let it soak for say an hour?

Pretty sure you saw my response in another thread but just to be sure, spray C22 on both sides of the lace. Wait 5-10 min. Get a cotton bll/pad and start rubbing outwards.

Only the front part is lace, doesn't really help me.

So you want to get rid of the glue from the skin base part? I just roll it off with my fingers. Most of it anyway. I also use alcohol and then also some dish washing liquid and a towel. Whatever works on the day!
