How exactly do I do it? Where do I store the other half?
I'm starting tomorrow and i'm pretty nervous. I'm going to stay away from all the sides section, etc. I'm just worried it does more damage to my hair than good. Trying to keep a positive attitude ofcourse.
Help on my question and any advice is much appreciated :)

aw man ._. I know how you feel.

I know everyone jumps on me for this stuff but see this is why I keep my finasteride dose really low to just skim the edge off my DHT levels, as I believe there are other significant factors to male pattern baldness other than just DHT.

As far as finasteride goes, I don't know with those kinds of capsules as I have the little tiny round tablets, but yeah stuff like this works for them at least:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0432232680

That's obviously a UK ebay link as I live in the UK :)

The only problem I can see is if what's inside the capsules you bought is powder, as then it could get a bit messy o_O lol

But yeah erm, good luck man, if you wanna go with the traditional route like here on HairLossTalk.com (dht, topical inflammation reduction etc) then I would recommend grabbing some Nizoral as well, I mean it's cheap and it works, so why not? Just don't overdo it and keep an eye out for your scalp getting dry/red. I myself am switching to a simpler keto solution to avoid the SLS in shampoos.

But yeah, peaz!

Thanks for the reply man. Yeah well i'm keeping my fingers crossed, and hopefully finasteride will work. Only thing that i'm worried about is that im only 20. Thats the reason why i'm going for a low dose. I'm worried it messes my hormones for good. And yeah i've already starting using nizoral 2% 2 / 3 times a week max. Other than that I use a non sls shampoo. That's the problem with the finasteride, it has powder inside it. Even if I could manage to split them in half, where do I store the other 0.5 mg?
Could I put it in some drink and have it the next day? Any suggestions?
Thank you once again..

Yeah I think people do dissolve it in something sometimes, I don't really know.

This might help:

Not to hijack the thread, but can I ask which one? And also, it is a 100% fact that SLS is bad for the hair?

I've never seen any scientific evidence that SLS (in the typical amounts that are used in shampoos) is bad for hair.

Honestly i'm not sure. I know i've read on some sites that its bad for the hair, and personally i switched to a non sls because my derm told me to.
Its working pretty good. Since i'm using nizoral 2 / 3 times a week, i figured i'd use something very light and clean of chemicals and sh*t for the rest of the days.
Not sure if sls IS bad for the hair though..

Oh, there definitely isn't any lack of people on the Internet making the claim that SLS is bad for hair; I'm saying that I've never seen any scientific evidence that it is.

Googling it took me by surprise a little!

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=sls+shampoo

hehe

yeah personally I think I'd rather just drop it and be on the safe side. I don't really know what I'll buy instead of nizoral, hopefully some kind of liquid or foam keto solution, as I have long hair so a cream would be hell to apply! lol

EDIT -- wow that dude who wrote the first google hit seemed to notice improvements! Many people seem to tbh. Yeah, that's convinced me, I'm ditching it again :) Let's face it, the last thing I want is a topical skin/follicle irritant!!
