How do eyebrows respond to hormones?

I heard before that the side hairs are neutral to androgens, but now I know they can be hurt by androgens.

I also heard eyebrow hairs are neutral, but now I really wonder. Eyebrows do get thinner with age. A lot thinner. Though on some guys, they get a lot longer.

We know that body hair thrives in the presence of DHT, whereas scalp hair shrinks in the presence of DHT. Anyone know how eyebrows respond? Or do they do a third thing?

I'm thinking of applying something to my eyebrows to make them grow a bit. But I don't want forehead hair, so minoxidil is out.

I've been using minoxidil and retin-a on mine since Nov 1, 2007. Mine were both thin and very light. I have very
noticeable growth and significant numbers of the lighter hairs have darkened. I do have some peach fuzz
around them but for now it is very fine and light colored and it's possible it was there before and just did
not notice it. If they turn dark I'll pluck the suckers. I've also not been very neat in my application, I just drop
it on so a more controlled application might help.

minoxidil/Retin-A/finasteride/nizoral has worked wonders on my hair and brow and I have not gotten to month 3 yet.
I've got before pics and I'll try to post three month pics in Feb.

Eyebrows respond to minoxidil, but that's not hormones. From what I understand they aren't affected by hormones.

My beard responds to minoxidol. I got conned into undergoing one Photoderm (laser) treatment years ago and as a result I lost a lot of the facial along my jawline. However, applying Rogaine Foam on the affected areas has made the regrowth come along nicely. Also, I'm not even two months into my treatment...

yeah, my beard does not connect in places, so I'm putting minoxidil there to fill in the gaps. More masculine that way. With GTE on my cheeks, i can hide the bad stubble.

Agreed. A full beard does look much more masculine.

By the way, what is GTE an acronym for?

green tea extract.

Thanks for reminding me to put minoxidil on that beard spot again. I just missed it. Not in the habbit yet.

I also just dyed my eyebrows again. They look good now, but not the exact same color as my hair. At least they are no longer skin colored.

I also use a dap of Folligen cream on the same areas of my beard I apply minoxidil to. I believe this has also helped quite a bit. Used to use it on my eyebrows too because it made the hair there feel great, though it make them look too thick. (I naturally have really thick ones to begin with).
