I have been ordering French Lace units from the usual post-Covid suppliers and have had no luck in trying to bleach the crazy knots on my #17 or #18 color pieces. I have used pretty strong developer and bleach and have had good experience doing so pre-Covid on lace units. Does anyone have any tips or know what they are using to dye the hair these days?

it's probably fabric dye.
in that case rit color remover would lift it but it's harsh stuff so probably too late for that if you've already applied strong bleach to the knots. the hair may just break.

i've never used it to bleach knots and not sure how that would even work. usually i dissolve a tablespoon or so in water and microwave for 45-60 seconds before submerging the hair in it to lift color.

They are pretty prominent on the #17. Especially the very dark hairs they mix in and have put at the hairline. The #18 from superhairpiece is a bit lighter than my bio hair but knots are not too bad.
