How Bad Is This, Please Give Me Your Opinions.

I created a thread here back in may asking for opinions. At the time I had a buzz cut and the opinions where very different. One guy claimed I was on my way to a Norwood 3, some said a solid nw2...and some even claimed a nw1 with a natural high hairline.

The concern I have regards my hairline at the left side. Or the left frontal area. When I comb my hair left to right which I normally do, there seems to be a thinner area there, which I've had at least for 3 years. Maybe it has been there for a longer time, but I noticed it first time when I got a buzz cut in 2014 for the first time in a long time. Is this thinning..if so, alarming? Or is it a weird split..because my hair seems to have a weird split from the scalp to the side hairs specially in the front area. I'm still not sure if im thinning and am denial, or not. My age is 27.

Im not so interested in knowing what norwood i am, I am between a 1.5-2 somewhere. My concern is that area at left above the hairline. But i can take a pic soon with my hair pulled back.

My hair is also greasy atm which makes it worse..but this is pretty much it.

Oh yeah, you're definitely thinning and pretty receded as well. Do you plan on treating your hair loss?

My hairline has been this way since i was 18. No i dont think i'll treat it. Ahh...prematurely getting a lot of white/grey hair and thinning...lovely

17 and have the same hairline. Little more receding than you, but the same shitty thinning corners.

My juveline hairline was never straight, it had tiny temples which developed to this. So i've had this hairline for a good 10 years and I don't think it's receeded anything..but i have that thinning corner/area at the left.

Your hair is very similar to mine, you're 100% showing signs of male pattern baldness sorry brah, how old are you? I was 22 when I realized I was losing

If you already 30, your hair loss is going to be super slow. Your only a NW2 with pretty good density, so wouldn't be worried if your 30+. If you are early 20s your hair loss might kick in pretty fast. Your at the point where I wouldn't really notice your hair loss if I saw you unless you pointed it out. That temple doesn't look great, and appears to be thinning out though. Safest bet is jumping on finasteride, but your choice in the end.

Meh hard to say then. You still have great hair. If you want to keep it get on finasteride. Won't work for sure, but its your best bet. You will almost definitely continue to lose hair if you don't.

My friends hasn't pointed it out either, so maybe it's not that obvious yet. And my friends point out everything they see haha. I'll wait little more...It's not the end of it if my temples receed further, i can live with that.

Man I even started to grey at 17!! In a couple of years my sides are full covered with white hair. AND thinning? the Hair gods smile upon me haha.
