My hair has been like this for a while.
It’s still pretty thick, and according to family, it has been this receded for a few years now..

I'm 22. But tbh, I still have a lot of hair, and it's really thick too. When it gets greasy, like it was when I took the pics, it starts looking worse than it is, I think.

Thick hair is a blessing mate, believe me. You'll be fine, not many people are lucky enough to hang onto all of their hair throughout their lifetime and those rascals don't know how lucky they are.

You'll be able to cover of those receding temples with ease if you keep it long, in the meantime as others have suggested perhaps look at Finasteride or something to maintain what you have. Mine has gone and I needed a hair transplant, but my brother has been on finasteride for 10 years and we're poles apart. He maintains that his would be a mess if he hadn't started on it.

I hope so man. No one in my family, except for my father, is balding. My grandfather on my mother's side had a full head of hair, even when he was 80. Everyone says that I have my mother's hair, so I hope I'll be good. A high hairline kinda runs in the family.

I see miniaturization, which leads me to the conclusion that you’re balding, if you were just receded I’d tell you not to worry. But I was in your shoes at 19, and by the time I hit 23 it ended up thinning out

He has active thinning, just gradual.
