How Bad Is My Hairline , Where Am I On The Norwood Scale And Should I Get A Hair Transplant?

I've been pondering about this for a few months now.

When it's styled it doesn't look awful but I can just see my scalp at the temples on one side and it's really bothering me.

I won't take drugs so a transplant, platelets etc would be my only option as I don't want to go bald.

Any advice you guy can give would be great.

Am I over thinking it like people have told me or am I losing it and it looks bad?

f*** no dog, you have a borderline mature hairline. If you’re not shedding don’t worry about it. How old are you? Judging by the photos I’d assume late 20’s?

Hey mate.

Yes 27 in February.
It's thinning at my left temple a little and I don't know if that more to do with derma rolling latelt so maybe the hair is shedding a little? Not too sure.

If it bothers you that much for sure see a dermatologist. To me your hair looks normal. Is your other temple also receded back like that? That’s a typical “mature hairline” pattern.

Slighlty receded yes, but not as thin.
The other temple the hair is quite thick still.

It looks about normal to me, my left temple has also moved back a little but it did that at 15 and never changed. I’m 22 now.

Yes, my dad started balding at 25, uncle at about late 30s. Grandad went bald later on I believe.

Well when you factor in all of this... i would say try not to dress too much on it until you see a dermatologist. Make sure you tell them you have a history of hereditary baldness

Some recession but who knows if it will progress. If you’re not prepared to take finasteride then a hair transplant would be a disaster anyway if you do continue to bald.

I will do.
Looking at my cousin, he's a year older and has quality hair so genetically it's just luck of the draw. His dad's side are all bald and same grandfather on the maternal side.
