How bad am i thinning? 18 year old

Been on Propecia 4 months, hair doesnt seem to be getting better. should i start minoxidil or wait a bit longer?

yea it still look good, but my hair had thinned out quite a bit in the past year. Considering im only 18, thats pretty bad.

Pretty sure someone just wrote about how the young guys here post the worst pics ever and ask if they're thinning.

i beliebe it is the early stages of male pattern baldness. my dad is bald, so is my grandfather. why should i wait until my hair thins out even more when the odds of maintaining is much better then regrowing?

For any 18 year old to pull his hair back and be able to see that much scalp, and see through the hairs, means the beginning of diffuse thinning. Yes, he still has a lot of hair, but he has started to lose some. Go see a good dermatologist, one that specializes in hair and ask them to look for miniaturization. It's BETTER to catch it super early.

Thank you! finally someone who gets it. just because i still have great hair doesnt mean im not thinning. I do have miniaturization in my hair, i take close up pics and can clearly see them.

Your hair looks good but I am pretty sure you are really balding on your crown even though the rest of your hair is as thick as some hogs hair (sorry that is what my grandmother always tells when taking about hair thickness). So I do not understand why someone asks how you got finasteride...

You are certainly not NW7 but let's see how finasteride can help you...
